Birthdays, birds, & bees.

Inspired by the ceramics of Spain & Portugal, this
luscious centerpiece was created as a gift for a birthday party. The hostess is of Spanish heritage, so the container worked out perfectly filled with fennel, viburnum berries, grape-colored stock, hot biscuit amaranth, seeded eucalyptus, lemon yellow lilies, & pale-faced mini sunflowers. Even the bees liked it! (Look closely & you'll spy a bee hovering just below the viburnum berries on the left.)

I loved the flowers/berries combination and how they matched the beautiful Mediterranean jar.
It was the perfect touch to the table!
Thanks!

The flowers are stunning and so is this image! Luscious viburnum berries like jewels, with fennel seeds mirroring the the greens of the leaves in the glazed ceramic jar. Exquisite work!
