Autumn Aplomb!

Crabapple branches, swiss chard, leonidis roses, Schwartz-walder calla lilies, pome-granites, magnolia, asiatic lilies, bosc pears, eucalyptus, mums, eggplant, & a bunch of radishes fill this rustic windowbox.

Atmospheric Autumn.

This birthday arrange-ment of seeded euc, baby euc, circus roses, sea thistle, billy balls, scabiosa pods, tinted-solidago, & deep purple stock was the perfect complement to this amethyst decanter.

Break a leg!

This "Opening Night" arrangement of crabapple branches, oak leaf hydrangea, ageratum, dahlias, calcinia heather, & fern fronds was created for one of the leading ladies in the Cleveland production of Oscar Wilde's "An Ideal Husband."

Beauty is in the details:

Or, at least, for this bridal bouquet, anyway. Dahlias (Gingeroo, Prospero, & Gingersnap - to name a few), rose hips, crocosmia pods, hydrangea, & hot biscuit combine to great effect in this early autumn bouquet.

An AM Eye Opener.

Tomato red dahlias, crocosmia, sweet unique roses, snapdragons, sedum, safflower, hypericum berries, & baptisia foliage - just a bit of visual zing for a customer's nightstand.

Just the Right Touch.

A simple com-bin-ation of hydrangea (both diamond & limelight), peach stock, hydrangea foliage, calcinia, & scabiosa pods presented in a beautiful blue & white porcelain container.

Sweeten your apology with locally-grown zinnias (red, orange, & pink), mint, thistle, safflower, ageratum, & red hypericum berries arranged in a lovely turquoise-glazed pot.

A Touch of Whimsy.

One summer sun, a sprig of blue delphinium, a hot pink zinnia, a bashful snapdragon, a bit of cottage yarrow, & a touch of baptisia foliage in an old jam jar. Can you hear the cicadas?

A Trip to the Bountiful:

Summer - what a great time for flowers! Pale yellow dahlias, lavender stackeys, white hydrangea, hybrid delphinium, Armenian basket flower, gooseneck, stock, thistle, dusty miller, & mini variegated pittisporum combine to create this recent birthday composition.

When Life Gives You Lemons...

Make Centerpieces. That's just what we did for a recent wedding. The bride-to-be wanted a citrus mix, so we arranged lemons with touches of red hypericum berries & camelia foliage on an eclectic collection of cake plates - some old, some new. The look ended up being quite bold.

Red, White, & Lush.

Those were the instructions behind this centerpiece, which was created for a recent wedding at Severance Hall. Ivory & blush peonies, several red rose varieties, including David Austin garden roses, camelia foliage, hypericum berries, & ti leaves were arranged in pyramid vases and placed upon ivory linens. The smell was divine!

"We do!"

A pair of these baskets were created for the Bosley Wedding at Saint Paul's Episcopal Church on June 5th, 2010. They were a lovely complement to the wedding flowers, which were a citrusy mix. We created the baskets with silk flowers (peonies, hops, ranunculus, hydrangea, rose hips, and lilies) so mother and bride could each have a long-lasting memento of the wedding.

"Let's Here it for the Boy!"

Created for a benefit for the Cleveland Boy Choir being held tonight at Trinity Cathedral Cleveland, many of these lovely flowers began life in benefactor Judy Stuelpe's garden. Fushia azalea, raspberry rhododendron, hosta, & solomon's seal were augmented by coral peonies, white oriental lilies, & locally grown delphinium. "Give the boy a hand..."

Parrot Tulips

If tulips could talk, these orange & yellow blooms would definitely be sassy! Arranged in a moss green window box with sponge mushrooms & variegated pitt, the forsythia branches provide perfect linear support for the bold, but errant, beauties.

We're going green...

White flowering kale trimmed in green, yellow-tinted leucho-dendron, & cheerful anthuriums swirl from a leaf-twined vase set against a backdrop of a chartreuse toile pitcher & matching box.

A tisket, a tasket...

a Spring-inspired basket. Set against a turquoise wall, this "Dutch Garden" is an alternative to traditional floral arrangements. Grape-colored hyacinths, mini daffodils, and acacia are a great antidote for the winter doldrums.

Horns a plenty.

Created by a local artisan, these funky horn vases make quite a statement! We hung them over a turquoise canvas trimmed in red mounted on a green & yellow striped wall. We added poppies & Voila! Just think what you could do...

Stray Dog in the House!

They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks; however, you can give an old store a new look. Check out our new pieces from Stray Dog. These paper mache birds are just one example of the whimsical products this vendor creates. Woof! Woof!

One of our customers rang in the New Year with with a pair of these arrangements gracing her dining room. The customer's mercury glass artichokes were filled with cedar, winterberry, cymbidium blossoms, white oriental lilies, & sparkling faux pine boughs along with mercury glass & bronze ornaments.
